$495. Rider Elements - Learn To Ride Program - New Riders

Do you want a course that prepares you properly for the road?
To be a controlled smooth rider, you need a solid foundation of skills. Our Rider Elements course uses 2 approaches the closed on-lot modules and the on-road module.

Learn the Motorcycle Controls (clutch, throttle, brakes, shifting, steering)
Proper visioning and forward planning (low and high density traffic areas)
Understand how to use the bikes acceleration and brakes (speeds from 10 km to 90 km/hr)
Slow speed balance skills (perfect for day to day traffic situations)

Specially trained road instructors used for on-road module with bike to bike communication enables our student’s valuable rider perception skills during your road ride module

All of our Edmonton rider courses incorporate David Hough’s Proficient Motorcyclists Cornering Skills Range. Course Schedule
Rider Element classes are 15 hours in duration includes your home theory, breaks & on road skills ride. We teach the practical riding during one evening, 5.45 pm to 10 pm and the following day from 7.45 am to 5 pm. This course also includes our 4 hr TNT Theory Seminar available throughout the year giving our students 19 hours of instruction plus Free Practice for Life.

Approach to Learning
Learning should be fun. Our highly skilled instructors use a variety of approaches to help you learn including group instruction, skill demonstration, one-on-one coaching, customized drills and constant feedback. All of our instructors are avid motorcyclists who believe in life long learning for their students as well as themselves.

Qualifies for Rider Training Discounts through most insurers.
All new motorcycle riders are now required to take a 45 minute road test at an Alberta Registries to attain their motorcycle license. TNT’s facility does qualify for road tests, subject to certain provincial conditions.

Do you want more practice time before you challenge the road test?

This course is specially designed for TNT Rider Elements Graduates who want more roadwork. This 4 hr course expands our graduate’s traffic knowledge and provides real time training while the student negotiates though the local city streets and freeways.

Like our Rider Elements Course, you will be suited up with our high visibility vests while riding our motorcycles, receiving real time commentary on our bike-to-bike communication system.

This course incorporates 1 hr of TNT’s computer based learning module to better prepare you for the mental skills required for safe riding. Our course material is based on Honda Canada’s Ride Smart Booklet, a nationally recognized information booklet that is focused on new rider safety.

We supply you with our Honda CBR125’s, bike to bike radio communication & high visibility vest. You may be the only student or there may be 1 or 2 others, either way the fun factor is extremely high!

You will benefit from a 1 hour skills workshop on the PM Skills Course before we take to the road.

We take our road training seriously; we use certified advanced rider instructors from the UK and USA.
Our 3 road instructors have over 50 years of rider training expertise, enabling a greater learning experience for you.

$299. Miette Hot Spring Run - Intermediate / Advanced

Do you often feel unsure of yourself when riding through corners?

Participants will use their own bikes and enjoy the new feeling of confidence when unlocking the mysteries of cornering and forward planning.

This 2-day course begins at 12 noon at our accommodations, Pocahontas Cabins in Jasper National Park. Our students will learn about visual strategies and positional techniques that only curvy roads can provide. You will improve your cornering, throttle control, gear shifting and rider confidence. Our certified advanced rider instructors help with one-on-one training through our bike to bike communications system. Enjoy the benefit of hearing real time instructor feedback as you ride through one of the best roads in Alberta.

After a full day of riding, soaking in the Miette Hot Springs is a well-deserved bonus. Participants are on their own for the evening, able to enjoy a nice meal at the Miette Hot Springs, or a trip into Jasper to see the sites or just relaxing at your Pocahontas Cabin.

The following day we are up and hungry for our breakfast meeting. This informative discussion will provide interesting theory and promote group discussions in a relaxed mountain setting.

We will use the morning ride to continue improving on our newly developed riding skills. We will stop and check out of our accommodations and enjoy a Group Riding Seminar before we head to Hinton for lunch. After our quick lunch in Hinton we will continue practicing proper group riding techniques, stopping in Stony Plain to say our goodbyes around 4 pm.

FREE for TNT Students - TNT Theory - All Riders

This 4 hour theory course is taught by our owner and senior instructor, Chris Bulger. Our format allows for group activities, open discussions, gearing up Charlie Boy, and seeing some great videos. This course is designed for all riders and we believe that the more you know the better rider you become. We offer this at various times over the year to ensure that everyone has a chance to benefit.

All non TNT students are charged a $75.00 fee for this course. Bookings can be made though our office or online.

Terms and Conditions for Cancellations

If you cancel your course without proper notice, giving 3 full business days, there will be no refunds or re-scheduling of the course.

If you cancel your course prior to 3 full business days, a $75.00 cancellation fee will be applied.

Course times are mandatory and showing up late will be cause for dismissal with no refunds

All Courses require proper riding gear

Approved motorcycle helmet:, D.O.T is the minimum certification we allow
Riding Gloves must be full fingered, leather is preferred.
Riding Jacket , accept Jean jackets, leather or textile, no light nylon jackets allowed
Appropriate footwear, boots that cover your ankles, no running shoes or high heeled fashion boots
Protective eyewear safety glasses and sun glasses are acceptable
Rainwear is recommended as we operate rain or shine.
